Vehicles for Sale
Dutch Auction University Surplus and Salvage reduces prices on property for sale. For example, equipment received in December is reduced in February. Equipment received in January is reduced in March. The first full week of the month is 20% off the price. The second week is 40% off. The third week of the month is 60% off and the fourth week of the month is 80% off the price. The following items are excluded from the Dutch Auction: vehicles, items marked for bid, property priced more than $2,000, or property without dates. We reserve the right to verify the price and availability of property for sale. September 2-5–20% off |

What We DoThe University Surplus and Salvage department receives and sells surplus University of Utah property. Education and Government Have First ChoiceProperty is offered to federal agencies, state agencies, University departments, and public education institutions first, then to the general public. Federal, State, and Public Education agencies may purchase surplus property as soon as it is displayed in the Surplus warehouse. |

Property Available for Public Sale after 15 DaysThe public, University employees and students are welcome to purchase property after the government surplus cycle (Utah Code 63A-9-802) expires. Presently this cycle is fifteen days. |
