Save (standard download)
- Click on the link to the screen saver you would like to download (.zip file). The browser will open a File Download window.
- For easy access, we recommend downloading to your desktop or to a dedicated download folder. To change the download destination, go to your browser preferences.
- If you have a file expanding utility on your Mac, such as Stuffit Expander, the .zip file will automatically open a dialogue box asking you to choose a destination to expand the file into.
- The download is complete when the .zip file is unstuffed/expanded into a Screen Saver Control Panel with the red U icon

- If you don't have Stuffit Expander, go to http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/ for a free download.

Install
- Find the screen saver control panel you have downloaded and unstuffed/expanded. It has a red U icon
.
- Double-click to install. "Installing ..." will appear on your screen.
- When finished, you will see a message "The Screen Saver was successfully installed. The Screen Saver Control Panel will open after you press OK.
- Press OK and then set your computer's Screen Saver control panel to the name of your desired screen saver, such as UofU_Campus or UofU_Stadium.
- Adjust your Start time as needed. The default is 3 minutes.
- Close the Control Panel to activate activate the screen saver.
- Once installed, the screensaver lives in the Control panel. You may choose to keep the .zip file and the expanded installer file (with red U icon
) for archival purposes or simply delete them.
Reconfigure
To deactivate the screen saver, or to change the default Start time (3 min.):
- Open the Desktop & Screen Saver Control Panel in your System Preferences.
- Navigate to the name of the screen saver you would like to change to.
- Adjust your Start time as needed (e.g., from the defalt 3 min. to 5 min.)
- If your monitor has a very large resolution (1280x1024 or above) and you find the images overly stretched or pixelated, you may click on Options and choose Normal to have images displayed at 100% without being stretched. This may create a black box surrounding the screen saver but the images will look better.
- Close the Control Panel to activate the new settings.
