Connecting U Days: Explore. Discover. Experience.

Did you know that college graduates have more opportunities, higher incomes, and more fulfilling careers? Have you ever wondered if college is right for you or your child? Do you have questions about The University of Utah?

This is your chance to learn more about how to prepare for, and succeed in college. Join us for “Connecting U Days” at the University of Utah to find out more about important steps to succeeding in college:

• Multiple breakout sessions covering topics like financial aid, how to prepare for college, and degree choices
• Sessions on the basics of college in English and Spanish
• A light breakfast and full lunch
• A special kid’s area with activities throughout the day to allow parents the freedom to attend sessions
• Hands-on activities for youth, ages 5-12 years, provided by the School of Medicine and Youth Education
• An Information Fair featuring colleges and departments from across campus
• Tours of both campus and housing facilities
• Give-aways

Located in the A. Ray Olpin Student Union Building on the U of U campus, this event has something for everyone. Whether you’re a high school student, prospective U student, admitted student, parent or community member, we have something for you.

Connecting U Days will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012. More information will follow. 

How do I register?

Currently, registration for the event is not open. As the event draws closer, you will be able to register for any of the Connecting U Days events by visiting our Events Page and registering online.

Instructions for registering: Choose the date you wish to attend and click "Register Here". You will then be taken to a Login page. If you already have a U-VIP account, simply log in. If you do not, just fill out the four fields and select a username and password. You can then register for the Connecting U Days event.
