Hometown: |

Alma mater: |
B.A from the University of Utah; M.Ed. from the University of Utah |
Number of years at the U: |
I’ve been at the University of Utah since 2002, Frankly, I love the U, I consider it to be my second home—after all, I have spent multiple hours, studying, dining, and sleeping on campus! |
Best part of your job: |
Working with students, and seeing them grow and graduate from college. |
Why you decided to work in student recruitment: |
I believe that all students should be able to obtain a college degree, so I make it my goal to empower students and their parents on their college preparation, and work on developing access to all educational opportunities. |
What’s your favorite thing about the U? |
The University of Utah has such a beautiful and healthy campus, as I walk through campus every morning, I feel so proud and amaze on how beautiful it really is, its proximity to the mountains makes it just the perfect place to be. |
Favorite Ute moment/memory: |
Rushing down Rice-Eccles Stadium after winning a championship! Go Utah! |
Favorite thing to do in Salt Lake City: |
SLC has so many great spots to go hiking to see the amazing views of city, I also enjoy supporting the Real Salt Lake (our soccer team) at the Rio Tinto Stadium, and spending time with my family at Sugar House park. |
Favorite Salt Lake restaurant: |
I’m a meat lover, so I would have to say Rodizzio Grill, it’s a fantastic and delicious Brazilian churrasqueria (steak house). If you go, make sure you tell them it’s your birthday! You will be in for a surprise! |
At Rice Eccles Stadium, spirit and pride fill the air creating an atmosphere unlike any other! Cheering on with the MUSS “The Mighty Utah Student Section”, shouting the school’s fight song, and rushing down to the field when winning a championship are some of my fondest memories at the U, and the reason why the stadium is my favorite spot at the University of Utah!
