Number of years at the U: |
I have been at the University of Utah since 2009 as a student and also working in the Admissions Office, processing applications of international students. |
Best part of your job: |
Seeing the excitement in a student as they prepare to begin their college career. |
Why you decided to |
I love working with students and helping them navigate through the process of admissions and introducing them to all the great things the U has to offer them to give them a well rounded college experience. |
If I didn’t work in |
a chef. I love to cook and eat and would watch the Food Network all day if I could. |
What’s your favorite |
I love the diversity of the academic programs. I was able to participate and learn in various ways not just through reading a text book and listening to lectures but actually going out into the community and serving and absorbing the richness of artistic and cultural programs on and off campus. |
Favorite U of U fun fact: |
The campus is an arboretum and hosts hundreds of different varieties of trees with labels designating their species. It is a beautiful campus any time of year. |
Where are you most |
The Union building which is a fun place to be with the bowling alley, pool tables and food court. |
Favorite thing to do in |
I love Salt Lake City! There are so many things to do in the city like attend the ballet or musical concerts. I like to go to the theatre and comedy shows as well. |
Favorite Salt Lake |
There are quite a few that I like but Gourmadise Bakery is one I frequent a lot lately. They have amazing pastries and deli sandwiches. |
I chose Kingsbury Hall because it is a beautiful building in design and architecture. It is located on President’s Circle and has hosted many diverse events during my time here on campus.
